京都を活かした創作スパイス料理フルコース|京都御所南のレストラン「izon」

A full course of creative spice cuisine that makes the most of Kyoto | Restaurant "izon" south of the Kyoto Imperial Palace

A one-of-a-kind full course of spicy cuisine

Izon's "Omakase Course" allows you to experience a full course of new spice cuisine that is completely different from Indian and Southeast Asian cuisine.

The reason for its novelty is the story that flows through the food.

World history and culture inspire cooking ideas.

Owner chef Yoshifuji continues to study world history and culture, and has a unique style of sublimating what he finds interesting into his cooking.

Original stories are woven from a variety of elements, including ethnicity, history, religion, chemistry, war, immigration, geography, and climate, spanning ancient civilizations to the present and even the future.

Add spices that have been deeply connected to the development of humanity.

It was possible because it was Kyoto.

Why is location important?

The people, water, and ingredients of Kyoto.

It was only after Izon opened its store in Kyoto and we were able to meet such wonderful people that we realized something important.

"Not only is it new, it's also really delicious food."

The owner chef himself purchases seasonal ingredients directly from the Ohara and Kyoto wholesale markets.

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Limited to 5 seats.

Reservations for the dinner omakase course must be made at least two days in advance via table check .

Lunch reservations can be made on the day, and walk-ins are also accepted.

The menu for the "Omakase Course" is introduced on our blog , so please take a look.
