What is Marsala?
Marsala is one of the four great fortified wines in the world.
It is known not only as an aperitif or digestif, but also as an essential drink for tiramisu.
It is produced in Sicily, Italy, and is characterized by its rich aroma, which comes from aging in oak barrels.
A rare "Marsala" Maker's Dinner will be held in Japan
The General Manager of Pellegrino from Sicily visited izon in Kyoto.
This is a rare maker's dinner in Japan where you can hear directly from Marsala producers.
This event will allow you to compare Marsala tastings and enjoy three cocktails made with izon's original Marsala, along with buffet-style spicy dishes.
Amazingly, you also get a full bottle of Marsala as a souvenir.
